Life: Making it Happen

> Just Do It.

It's more than Uncle Phil's slogan.

Anytime a thought crosses your mind of a task to do, as small as it is, do it right then. Go right to the task and finish it without interruption. This allows your mind freedom to move to the next task. The mind has more and more clarity with each completed task. Get up and do it, now.

> Drink!

Your brain is 80% water. Every cell in your body cannot and will not function effectively and at its potential without hydration. The membrane of every cellular function, mental synapse and process within your body and mind become activated when you are hydrated. If you think you drink enough water, think again. The players made sure Bellotti was.

> Be Fearless.

Whenever fear tells you not to do something, do it. Trust your instinct. There are two stages in the body, growth and protection, that cannot function in both modes at any one time at the cellular level. Simply put, you are in one or the other.

When you are in protection (fear and stress) the blood from your brain forces itself to your extremities, pushing reasoning ability, learning and clarity out into your arms and legs in order to fight or flight.

Make It Happen,

State of the O: Return to Roses

Any Duck fan remembers it.

Number 2 in the nation. Dixon in the Heisman drivers seat. The memories of that scene two years ago are as vivid as ever as Oregon and Arizona played a remarkable game, and an amazing Civil War. Heck, even at 'Zona ESPN GameDay was on hand (again).

We now face more dreams of intense pride and opportunity.

Opportunity for redemption, remembrance of what was possible then is possible now, reconciliation and roses. The road to Pasadena wasn't easy. Players, fans, legends and the entire nation were watching last night, and Oregon didn't let anyone down. Will the giant that is Oregon continue the dominance in the Rose Bowl?

Something seems different this year.

Oregon has made the climb from the disasterous blow-up in Boise to roses. Belief, Passion, Excellence.

It's who Oregon is.

Best,
Ryan
